Terms and Conditions
1. One Person should leave and collect the dog. If you need to nominate another person to do either we ask that you inform us of the name and phone number of that person. We will require the specified person to identify him or herself before removing your dog. ID in the form of a passport or driver’s license will be accepted. The dog will not be released to them without prior consent from the owner and you will be liable for any extra boarding charges should this occur. This is for the safety and security of your dog.
2. Boarding rates are as follows: 1 dog £25 per 24hr, 2 dogs £45 per 24hr. For more dogs contact us for the rate. Day care rates are 1 dog £20 (max 10hrs), and 2 dogs £36 (Max 10 hrs). Payment to be made 1 month prior to the start of the booking via bank transfer, cash or cheque.
3. All dogs must be fully vaccinated at least 2 weeks before staying with us. It is your responsibility to vaccinate your dog. We take no responsibility for your dog contracting any diseases while staying with us. We will need you to send a copy of the vaccine details via email other electronic form
4. In case of emergency (eg fire or illness) during your dogs stay we will follow our emergency procedures, this may result in your dog being transferred to other dog boarders. We will communicate with you and or your nominated emergency contact. Bookings maybe cancelled at any time due to emergency or force majeure. Should this be necessary every effort will be made to try to find alternative accommodation.
5. Please advise us IMMEDIATLY if your female dog is in season or due to come into season. Due to the nature of home boarding and the lack of confinement it will not be possible to board the dog. It is your responsibility to have your dog neutered or spayed and we highly recommend that you spay/neuter your dog. Place priority is given to spayed and neutered dogs.
6. We will find a new home for any dog if not collected 30 days from due departure date if we cannot contact you. You agree to this and to pay for all associated costs (including the boarding cost above).
7. Any unforeseen delays to picking up your dog will be charged at the above rates, plus any incremental costs incurred.
8. We reserve the right to act in the best interests of the dog at all times this includes seeking veterinary advice if he/she becomes ill. We will contact you immediately should your dog become ill and continue to keep you informed . If you cannot be contacted within a reasonable time or have chosen not to be contacted we reserve the right to seek appropriate and swift veterinary attention and proceed with treatment regardless of costs, which you agree to cover. We will do everything needed for the dog as regards treatment, comfort and recovery. If euthanasia is absolutely necessary (determined by the vet) for whatever reason excluding behavioural (aggression etc) we will accept and act upon that vet advice. We will use your vets if practicably possible, otherwise we will use our own vet.
9. All dogs are accepted at their owners' risk. While every possible care and attention is given to each dog, we cannot be held responsible for any injury, illness, loss or damage, howsoever arising. Any vet fees / transport costs incurred during the dogs stay will be covered by you the owner.
10. Your dog should be wearing a collar with an ‘ID’ tag.
11. Cancellation – Confirmed bookings cancelled 2 weeks before boarding will be subject to a 25% cancellation charge. Within 2 weeks of boarding a 50% charge will apply. Less than a week before boarding will be subject to a 75% cancellation charge.
12. Dogs will be boarded with other dogs, every care will be taken to ensure all dogs are familiarised safely, and all dogs will have gone through the same meet and greet procedure, however no liability is accepted for any issue should it arise.
I agree to the above boarding terms and conditions, and understand that these conditions apply to each booking made. I agree that initial contact and subsequent bookings were made with Whitford trading and no agency arrangement will apply to this contract.
